About

Behind NMR Lines aims to give a bench-eye view into the world of chemistry. I pretty much write about whatever comes to mind: the latest news, classic papers, and online goings-on are all fair game. This is also the home of #chemclub, which you can use to share what you're reading on Twitter.

I'm a student at the University of Oxford (whose views this blog does not represent) working on autocatalytic chemical reactions. I am predictably interested in writing about science and thinking about how research is carried out and communicated.

You can also read my writing at The Conversation, which I contribute to periodically. My articles from there have been featured on Ars Technica and SciAm amongst other sites.
